Job Description

ACCEL Law Group, located in the heart of West Hartford Center, is a thriving law firm with a national insurance transactional and regulatory practice.

Our Background
ACCEL is a law firm that was created to allow attorneys to do sophisticated work but without all the stuffiness and rigidity found in most large law firms. The firm was started in 2014 with the goal of providing value to our clients and to everyone on our team. We are a firm that embraces the need to balance work and family. We understand that value is not measured just by the number of hours billed or time spent in the office.

What We Do
ACCEL Law Group serves businesses in key segments of the insurance industry, including start-up companies, insurtechs, insurance agencies and insurance companies, and private-equity backed companies. From our offices in Central Connecticut, ACCEL advises market leaders across the country.

Our services range from providing regulatory advice and strategic counseling on state insurance laws to buying and selling companies in M&A transactions. Our practice provides ACCEL team members with the rare opportunity to work side-by-side with both highly sophisticated billion-dollar companies and smaller entrepreneurs.

However, regardless of the client, the projects we work on are never faceless. Whether we represent a buyer or seller in an M&A transaction, or advise on an ongoing business issue, we work directly with client executives, owners, and decision makers.

The client transactions we work on generally range from a few million to over $300 million, and in the past three years, we completed 100+ transactions worth more than $3 billion in the aggregate.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our leadership team. If you are a detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational and communication skills, we invite you to apply and join our team.

  3. Notes and File Organization:
    • Take detailed meeting notes and maintain an organized filing system for important documents.
    • Ensure easy retrieval of documents and information when needed.
  4. Document Printing, Saving, and Filing:
    • Print, scan, and file documents as required.
    • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure documents are well-organized and accessible.

  6. Travel Planning:
